Persad recognizes the higher levels of isolation and discrimination often felt by individuals living in non-urban settings.
To provide better access, Persad has established an regional services through centers in Washington, PA and Erie, PA. Persad has also created Community Safe Zone, which focuses on the counties of Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Washington and Westmoreland, working with area allies, leaders, organizations and agencies to create safe communities for LGBT citizens.
Many of Persad’s services are available at our Washington and Erie Service Locations. These sites provide specific outreach and activities for the residents of Washington, Erie and surrounding communities.
