Celebrate Life, Celebrate Art

Celebrate Life, Celebrate Art is our annual season of events, starting in February and culminating at our art auction in May. This is our largest fundraiser and the event brought in more than $250,000 for Persad’s Free Care Fund in 2011.

This event features an array of local and national contributing artists and galleries in an assortment of media.

The 2012 Celebrate Life, Celebrate Art season of events will kick-off with our Underwriters Circle VIP Event on Friday, April 13, 2012 at The National Aviary. The season concludes on Monday, May 14, 2012 at our Annual Art Auction, which will be held at The August Wilson Center for African American Culture in downtown Pittsburgh.

$1,200 Community Benefactor Level

  • Recognition as a Community Benefactor on signage at all CLCA Events

$600 Community Partner Level

Join us for a very special evening featuring a gourmet dinner, cocktails, and dancing in the Aviary’s exotic tropical tent. Preview some of the amazing works of art that will be auctioned off at the Celebrate Life, Celebrate Art Auction in May!

Persad’s signature event is both a verbal and silent auction featuring over 200 pieces of art from local, national and international artists including photography, painting, sculpture and jewelry. Come enjoy great food, drinks and entertainment and take home some fabulous artwork.
