As an agency with 30+ years experience in working with the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender communities, Persad is committed to providing quality information to the public and to human service professionals who will deal with LGBT people in their service roles.

Persad believes that education services are part of our advocacy mission. As such, we provide the following education services:

• Public Speaking Engagements – we respond to requests from groups, organizations to talk about gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, HIV/AIDS, and related issues.
  
• Professional Training Programs – Persad provides formal training programs and events for other human service professionals to improve their skill and competence in responding to the needs of the LGBT community as they encounter them in their work.
  
• Corporate Diversity Training – Persad teaches workers and managers in corporations to understand the value of embracing diversity and utilizing differences to maximize productivity and creativity in the workplace.
  
• Symposium Series – Persad sponsors a series of events annually with National Speakers focusing on topics relevant to the LGBT community. See our Events section for more details.
