Persad Center provides professional, culturally-affirming counseling and psychiatric services for LGBTQ+ and HIV/AIDS-affected people. We offer services to individuals, couples, and families who are seeking to enjoy healthy and fulfilling lives.

 

 Our counseling and mental health services include:

• individual, family, and couples counseling

• drug and alcohol dual-diagnosis intensive outpatient treatment

• group therapy

• support groups

• psychiatric evaluation and medication management

Getting services from a culturally affirming and competent agency means that you will be welcomed by all staff and encouraged to be your true and best self. You will be served by someone with experience and ease in talking to you about your needs, and you will be helped by a professional with knowledge regarding the problems and issues that you face and information and resources you need. No judgments. No discrimination. An atmosphere of acceptance coupled with expert quality care is what you will receive. 

 

We believe counseling should be an affordable option for everyone. The majority of insurance plans are accepted but may sometimes vary based on the specific therapist. If you do not have insurance, we offer a sliding scale payment option, as well as support in applying for medical assistance. Consumer Health Coalition can assist you with the application process for medical assistance.
