Persad offers LGBTQ+-affirming, individual outpatient therapy substance use services. Our care is client-centered, non-judgmental, and grounded in cultural humility. We provide the space to explore the relationship with substances and identify personal goals. Our therapy can also address co-occurring mental health concerns.

We also offer select forms of Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) when clinically appropriate. MAT currently offered at Persad includes suboxone, acamprosate naltrexone, gabapentin, sometimes klonopin in THC/alcohol withdrawal, zofran, and clonidine. MAT can help reduce harm, manage cravings, and support stability.

 

Persad currently hosts a weekly peer support group. The group meets in an affirming, safe space and allows participants to connect with others who share lived experiences. The group helps reduce isolation and build community.
