Tammie joined Persad in July 2021 as a Clinical Administrative Assistant and now serves as the Clinical Administrative Manager, overseeing both the Psychiatric and Front Office teams. When her son and daughter came out to her as transgender, Tammie recognized the importance of educating herself to better understand their needs and advocate for them effectively. Discovering the opportunity at Persad, she saw it as the perfect chance to deepen her knowledge. Through her work at Persad, she has gained valuable insights from the therapists and staff, allowing her to better support both the agency's clients and her own children. The most rewarding aspect of her role is leaving each day knowing that she has made a meaningful, positive difference.
