Hanyin Zheng

Therapist

Originally from China, Hanyin moved to the U.S. in 2018 to pursue a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Duquesne University. She joined Persad as an intern in 2021 and moved to a full-time therapist in June 2022. Currently, she is working toward her second master’s degree at Duquesne University.

Fluent in both Chinese and English, Hanyin is a bilingual mental health counselor with a compassionate, methodical approach. She is skilled in helping clients make meaningful progress using techniques like CBT, DBT, and person-centered therapy. Drawing on her cultural background, Hanyin provides culturally sensitive counseling to the Asian LGBTQ+ community, offering specialized support where it’s most needed.

Hanyin also facilitates the TransParents group, offering ongoing support to families with transgender members.
